A little shepherd girl was in the field with her lamb when suddenly she saw something in the sky that caught her attention and she looked on in awe. A sign of hope and new beginnings.
I created this illustration for a project I am working on but it was also used by a local non-profit for their Christmas card.
I have always loved to draw ever since I was a little girl, sitting in the kitchen with my mom showing me how to draw a train by making squares and circles. I've come a long way since then, graduating from crayons to colored pencils, pastels, oil pastels and even digital art. My favorite subjects are the people and places around me. I love capturing the everyday moments that seem so simple yet say so much. When you look at my artwork, I hope you will ee the beauty in the everyday as well.
