I used color pencil and pastel on green paper to show these two ducks racing around the pond. It reminded me of two little kids playing tag or a young one chasing after mom: "Wait for me!"
I have always loved to draw ever since I was a little girl, sitting in the kitchen with my mom showing me how to draw a train by making squares and circles. I've come a long way since then, graduating from crayons to colored pencils, pastels, oil pastels and even digital art. My favorite subjects are the people and places around me. I love capturing the everyday moments that seem so simple yet say so much. When you look at my artwork, I hope you will ee the beauty in the everyday as well.

Thank you Elizabeth! It was fun thinking about the two chasing after each other, playing tag.
