Colorful sunflower to bring you a smile. Some years ago, when my mom was in the hospital she was sent a beautiful bouquet of sunflowers to cheer her up. I loved those and took a variety of photos to use as reference. Since then I have done several versions of this sunflower and now I have decided to do this digital version using Affinity Designer. Hope you enjoy it.
I have always loved to draw ever since I was a little girl, sitting in the kitchen with my mom showing me how to draw a train by making squares and circles. I've come a long way since then, graduating from crayons to colored pencils, pastels, oil pastels and even digital art. My favorite subjects are the people and places around me. I love capturing the everyday moments that seem so simple yet say so much. When you look at my artwork, I hope you will ee the beauty in the everyday as well.
