These two geese look like they're having a conversation while paddling around the pond. Where are they going? To visit a friend? To a party? Not sure they know either but perhaps they'll still enjoy the stroll round and round,
This artwork was inspired from a trip to the San Francisco Botanical Gardens one year. It was in a pond there that I saw these geese swimming around. This piece is done in color pencil and pastel.
I have always loved to draw ever since I was a little girl, sitting in the kitchen with my mom showing me how to draw a train by making squares and circles. I've come a long way since then, graduating from crayons to colored pencils, pastels, oil pastels and even digital art. My favorite subjects are the people and places around me. I love capturing the everyday moments that seem so simple yet say so much. When you look at my artwork, I hope you will ee the beauty in the everyday as well.
