This artwork is color pencil and pastel on Pastelbord. On a beautiful crisp fall day, this little girl went apple picking with her Dad. I love how she didn't just go for the apples on the lowest branches but actually reached for the choicest apples higher up.
I have always loved to draw ever since I was a little girl, sitting in the kitchen with my mom showing me how to draw a train by making squares and circles. I've come a long way since then, graduating from crayons to colored pencils, pastels, oil pastels and even digital art. My favorite subjects are the people and places around me. I love capturing the everyday moments that seem so simple yet say so much. When you look at my artwork, I hope you will ee the beauty in the everyday as well.
