Artist's Description

This color pencil artwork was based on a trip I took one year to the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. Among the beautiful gardens, there was a pond in the Children's Garden. Here was this boat just relaxing in the pond waiting to be drawn.

About Susan Camp Hilton

Susan Camp Hilton

I have always loved to draw ever since I was a little girl, sitting in the kitchen with my mom showing me how to draw a train by making squares and circles. I've come a long way since then, graduating from crayons to colored pencils, pastels, oil pastels and even digital art. My favorite subjects are the people and places around me. I love capturing the everyday moments that seem so simple yet say so much. When you look at my artwork, I hope you will ee the beauty in the everyday as well.
